The Illinois State Police Forensic Science Center at Chicago will be hosting the 31st Annual Illinois State Police Charity Softball Tournament, July 31st-August 1st at Beren’s Park in Elmhurst, IL, JDRF will be one of the recipients of this great weekend event. Applebee's and JDRF

Applebee’s is bringing back the Dine to Donate program to benefit JDRF! Dine at Applebee’s and 15% of your bill will be donated to JDRF. Be sure to present this flyer during the program dates of June 28-29, July 5-6, and July 19-20. See flyer for participating Illinois locations.
We are looking for Family Team members to spread the word and support this program!

What you can do to help spread the word:

• Visit the Applebee’s near you during the promotion, (June 28-29, July 5-6 & July 19- 20th) .  Ask to speak to the Manager and personally thank them for their participation and support of JDRF.  See flyer for participating locations.
• Forward this flyer to all of your friends via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Encourage everyone you know to dine and support this partnership with Applebee’s. While you’re at it, ask them to join your walk team and register today or make a donation to your team's fundraising effort!
• While dining, deliver a “Thank you” card, picture or note from a child to thank them for their support of JDRF.

Finally, if you do any or all of the above, please let JDRF know about it.  Contact your local Walk Manager and tell them about your experience.  We'd love to hear about it!  Thank you for supporting those business’s that support JDRF!

JDRF/Pepsi Grant Opportunities - June 24th Deadline

Looking to boost your 2010 team total? Your Walk team could win a $10,000 or $2,500 Pepsi-JDRF grant!

Read the below form for complete details and hurry! Applications must be submitted by June 24th! You must be registered the 2010 Walk first in order to participate!

Application selection will take place during the month of June, with the top three winners announced in late June. Voting will be open to the public during the months of August and September. Voting instructions are will be available on Pepsi products located in Walgreens store locations throughout the state of Illinois.
